The Content Library is one place for the collateral partners sell with. Put it in a folder, choose which partners see the folder and what they can do with it, and every file inside follows the same rules.
Open Content Library from the Partners group in the navigation and choose Create folder. The permissions live on the folder, not on the file, so start with a folder and everything you put inside inherits its rules.
Choose New folder, give it a name and, if you like, a description. Then decide who sees it. Share with all partners covers everyone you work with. Choose No to pick the partners yourself. Finally choose what they can do with it:
There are two other ways to start. Mirror a source keeps a folder you already have in Google Drive in step with Airstride. Drop and sort with Carmen takes a batch of files and proposes the folder, partners and permission for you to accept or adjust.
Open the folder and choose Add files, or Add the first file when it is empty. Drop files in or browse for them. Add to folder switches on once every upload has finished.
You can add PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, text and CSV, images, MP4 and WebM video, MP3 and WAV audio, and ZIP archives. The folder lists each file with its size, the date it was added and who added it. From a file's menu you can preview it, download it, rename it, move it or copy it to another folder, or remove it.
Manage access on a folder lists every partner organisation that has it, each with its own permission. Change a level, search for a partner, or use Add more partners to share the folder with others. Newly added partners start on View + download. Save applies the change to everyone at that partner.
To hold back a single file, open its menu and choose Manage access. Switch from Everyone with folder access to Only specific members and tick the people at the partner who should see it. The file carries a Restricted chip while it is limited this way.
Before you rely on it, use Preview as. Pick a partner member and the folder redraws as that person sees it, with a count of the files hidden from them.
A partner opens the same Content Library page and sees only the folders shared with them, each marked with the access they have. Until something is shared, the page says nothing has been shared with them yet and explains how sharing works.
Inside a folder they see the files they are allowed to see. They can preview a file, download it, or select several files and use Download files. Partners cannot create folders or change who sees what. Only your team does that.
Not today. The Content Library does not report views or downloads by partner. If you want to know whether partners are engaging with your material, training completion is the measure that is reported.
PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, plain text and CSV, common image formats (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, SVG), MP4 and WebM video, MP3 and WAV audio, and ZIP archives.
Yes. The dialog tells you so: you can change all of it later. Use Manage access on the folder to add partners or change the permission each partner has.
Manage access needs at least one partner to save. To take a folder away from everyone, delete the folder. Partners lose access when you do.
Yes. Choose Create folder, then Mirror a source, and connect Google Drive. Each subfolder appears as its own folder. A mirrored folder is read-only in Airstride, so you edit it in Google Drive, and you can stop or resume syncing from its menu. Dropbox and SharePoint are marked as coming soon.
You drop in a batch of files. Carmen reads them and proposes a folder name, the partners and the permission, and explains why. Adjust the proposal or accept it. It shares the new folder with all of your partners, which you can narrow afterwards.
Admins in a partner organisation can add files to a folder shared with them, and can rename or remove only their own uploads. Other partner users can preview and download.
Yes. When a partner asks the agent a question, it searches the library files shared with that partner and names the documents it used. See set up the partner activation agent.
We will set up your first folders with you on the call, share them with the right partners and show you what each partner sees.
