Partners ask for a training session or a business review and suggest times. Your team accepts, confirms one of those times and marks the session complete. Both sides see where each request stands.
This part is the partner's. In the Partners group, a partner opens Session Booking and chooses what it needs.
Under Preferred times, the partner uses Add time to give a start and an end. At least one time is required. Notes are optional. The Request a session button stays off until the form is complete.
The request then shows under My requests with its type, a summary and a status. Your organisation gets a New session request notification.
Your team opens the same page and sees Incoming requests, with the partner, the type and summary, and the status of each. Select a request to see its detail and a progress bar from Requested to Completed.
Choose Accept. You can add a note to the partner. Then choose Propose / confirm time. The popover lists the times the partner offered, and you pick one. The request becomes Scheduled and shows the Confirmed time. When the session has happened, choose Mark complete.
You can decline a request while it is Requested or Accepted. Decline asks for a reason, and the partner sees it on the request and in a notification. Completed, Declined and Cancelled are final.
A partner can cancel only while the request is still Requested.
No. Partners propose the times that suit them and you confirm one of them. There is no calendar of open slots to book from.
No. Session Booking does not connect to a calendar. The confirmed time is shown on the request for both sides, and you add it to your own calendar yourself.
No. When you choose Propose / confirm time, you pick one of the times the partner added to the request. If none work, decline with a reason and ask the partner to request again.
A partner can cancel while the request is still Requested, using Cancel request. After you accept it, only your team can close it, by declining.
Notifications appear inside Airstride and link to the request. Your organisation is told about new and cancelled requests. The partner's organisation is told when a request is accepted, scheduled, declined or completed, and a decline includes your reason.
Partner and vendor users who have the Session Booking permission. Partners see their own requests under My requests. Your team sees requests from all of your partners under Incoming requests.
Requests go to the first vendor the partner is connected to.
We will walk through a request from both sides and show you where your team picks it up.
