Each person connects their own Google account from the App Centre. Airstride asks for read-only access to Drive and nothing more: enough to list your folders and download the files you choose. It cannot edit, move or delete anything in Drive.
Choose the Drive folders that hold your partner collateral and Airstride copies them into the Content Library, subfolders included. From then on Drive tells Airstride about every change, so files added, edited, renamed, moved or deleted in Drive show up in the library within minutes. Each folder shows whether it is synced, still syncing or paused.
Because Airstride only reads Drive, mirrored folders and files are read-only in Airstride. Rename, move, upload and delete are switched off on them, with a note saying why, so nobody makes a change that Drive would quietly undo. What you control in Airstride is who sees what. A mirrored folder starts visible to your own team only, and you share it with partners like any other folder.
