Connect Salesforce

Salesforce connects with your instance URL and an OAuth authorisation. Point Airstride at your org, approve the access, review the field map, and set what partners can see.

Before you begin

  • Your Salesforce Instance URL, and an account that can authorise an integration against it.
  • Permission to approve a connected app in Salesforce. On a locked-down org that is an administrator.
  • An Airstride account with access to the App Centre.
  • Nothing installed, and nothing from your IT team.
Step 1

Connect Salesforce from the App Centre

Open Airstride's App Centre and select Salesforce. Enter your Salesforce Instance URL, then authorise the connection. Airstride requests only the access it needs, and the connect screen lists every scope before you grant it.

  2. Enter your Salesforce Instance URL.
  3. Grant the access Airstride asks for.
  4. Authorise through Salesforce.
  5. Connected. Airstride reads your objects and fields straight away.
Step 2

Review your field mapping

Airstride reads your Salesforce fields automatically, so the map is ready to review the moment you land on it rather than something you build from scratch. Confirm the matches Airstride resolved, then point any custom fields wherever you need them.

Mapping changes apply on the next sync, which is immediate. You never reconnect to change a map.

  3. Point a custom field wherever you want it.
  4. Mapping changes apply without reconnecting.
Step 3

Set what partners can see

Use field-level permissions to control partner visibility over stage, value, contacts, custom fields and notes. Apply permission sets per partner role and they are enforced everywhere: the portal, the API and every export.

That is it

Sync is live from that moment

Two-way and real time. Register a deal in Airstride and the matching records appear in Salesforce instantly. Update a record in Salesforce and Airstride reflects it in seconds.

The rest is done for you

Beyond the Salesforce connection, Airstride handles your full setup within 24 hours of signup. Our team migrates all partner data from your CRM, PRM or spreadsheets, connects your partner collateral from Google Docs and other content sources, white-labels your portal to your brand, configures SSO, trains and enables the Partner Activation Agent, and invites your partners. You start day one with everything connected and working.

Common questions

Where do I find our instance URL?

It is the address you sign in to Salesforce on, in the form https://yourcompany.my.salesforce.com. A sandbox has its own URL, so connect the sandbox first if you want to test before going near production.

Do you respect our sharing rules and profiles?

Yes. Airstride connects as the authorising user, so anything that user cannot see, Airstride cannot see. Connect with a dedicated integration user if you want the access boundary to be explicit and auditable.

Can we use custom objects?

Custom fields on Accounts, Contacts and Opportunities are read and appear in the field map alongside the standard ones. Point them wherever you need them.

Do I have to reconnect after changing the mapping?

No. Mapping changes take effect on the next sync, which is immediate. The connection itself is untouched.

What if our CRM is not Salesforce?

The same steps apply across every CRM Airstride connects to. See the CRM guides for the one you run on, or the integrations directory for the full list.
